Moody International needed a real-time field inspection reporting service to inform them and their clients about the status of procured equipment. The new inspection system required major change to the company’s working practices, replacing the previous pen and paper process which could take up to two days to complete.
Critically, Moody’s IT department needed to support thousands of inspectors across many continents. The chosen solution therefore had to facilitate the smooth and efficient management of all hardware assets and software upgrades regardless of location.
The Solution
With mProdigy, Moody maintains central control of the global mobile enterprise whilst its regional offices can manage day-to-day activities. Technical Specialists use the mobile devices to capture examination data, photographs and signatures as well as prepare a comprehensive narrative report for immediate transmission to clients, using a third party application. Feedback from Technical Specialists on the device and application is captured for inclusion in the development cycle. mProdigy then updates devices on a weekly basis to ensure all are running effectively with the latest software.
