Our story

Since being founded in 2002, more than 30 Tier 1 OEMs and MSPs, including BT and Psion/Motorola Solutions/Zebra Technologies and most recently Panasonic, have partnered with B2M to understand how their ruggedised mobile devices are being deployed at companies like easyJet, Ferguson and Johnson Controls.

B2M’s real-time mobile intelligence platform helps our customers to build devices perfectly suited to real-world applications and enables our partners to manage their customer deployments to optimise critical processes, leading to unprecedented operational efficiency. Tracking Key Performance Indicators and using this information provides the springboard for product and service differentiation.

2005
First major mobility solution deployed: Lynx Express (later acquired by UPS)
2006
Relationship with British Telecom is established: Leads to the selection of mProdigy for mobile deployments
2008
mProdigy selected by Johnson Controls: Platform for Managed Service Programme
2009
Major deployments of mProdigy in the US: Syclo OEM agreement, Moody International selects mProdigy
2011
Strategic partnerships with Psion and SITA: easyJet decides on mProdigy for the Halo project
2012
mProdigy selected by Ferguson: Largest wholesale plumbing distributor in the US
2013
Elemez: Development of analytics cloud-based product. Elemez selected by Motorola, embedded client on new TC55 Android devices
2014
Motorola Solutions Venture Capital invest with a syndicate of UK investors. Established US subsidiary and offices

Julie Purves, CEO, founded B2M Solutions in 2002. A business visionary and international entrepreneur with 25 years of leadership success, Purves has assembled a senior-level team of sales, marketing, technical and financial professionals focused on developing and deploying mobile solutions that deliver outstanding business value.

Even in the early years of her career, Purves demonstrated an uncanny talent for identifying and nurturing emerging opportunities to help people and businesses reach their full potentials. A deep understanding of the partner and channel relationships grew into the motto that she carries with her today, “If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it.”

Ron Caines

Ron Caines

Global Vice President Sales and Marketing

Ronald W. Caines joined B2M Solutions in 2014 and is based in Cincinnati.

A sales-oriented problem solver with a strong technical background, Caines has a long track record leading business turnarounds, operational reengineering, capital planning, cost management and team motivation. With more than 20 years of executive-level sales, marketing, business development and general management experience, Caines has protected company brand value and gained market share throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Caines was most recently president of worldwide sales and services for Psion Corporation, a company acquired by Motorola Solutions. He originally joined Psion as vice president of marketing and was quickly promoted to president, Americas, before his appointment to the global role in 2009.

Warren Price

Warren Price

CFO

Warren Price was appointed CFO at B2M Solutions in 2010.  His extensive financial experience has helped B2M become an international business leader in providing innovative software solutions that provide valuable insight and actionable analytics for the mobile enterprise. His strategic and operational financial management insights ensure sound company financial decision making and effective stakeholder communications.

In 2005, Price joined and is still employed as a director at Dolphin Head Group Holdings Plc (DHGH), a commercial property letting company with assets of £30m. The company has interests in residential and commercial development as well as interests in other higher growth sectors including NET and B2M Solutions.

In 2008 he was appointed to the board of DHGH as director where he emerged to lead the company in a number of areas, including IT, finance and involvement in the company’s overall business strategy.
